God expects you to GROW.

Hebrews 5:12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again.

2Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The more you grow and know the more God EXPECTS of you!

Luke 12:48 Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.

What’s the incentive to grow? The more you grow and know the more of God’s PRESENCE, PROVISION, and POWER you experience in life.

2Peter 1:2-4 ² Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. ³ His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. ⁴ Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Christians LEAD The Way! SHOW the world and fellow Christians what it means to be a follower of Jesus and what life to the FULL looks like (John 10:10)!

Set an example of WHAT and HOW to live.

Shine brightly in this dark world to non-Christians that they have every OPPORTUNITY and REASON to turn to Jesus.

Some Christians are the biggest EXCUSE for a non-Christian to not follow Jesus!

DON’T be like everyone else. Don’t get caught up in their EARTHBOUND perspectives, attitudes, and lifestyles.

2Timothy 2:3-4 ³ Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. ⁴ Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them.
